What does your company do?

My company is a 100% African female owned law firm. We provide an array of services ranging from and not limited to •Civil Litigation •Criminal law Litigation •Administration of Estates •Property transfers and registrations • 3rd Party liability Litigation •Contract vetting and Drafting •Land claims Administration

What is your biggest success?

My biggest success has been opening the law firm amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, which I believe speaks to my resilience and sheer will to succeed no matter the prevailing circumstances. I managed to nurture and mentor 5 students who were volunteering at the office, one of which I hired full time and the rest I helped immensely with self esteem and confidence in the workspace. The students I couldn't hire went on to get employment elsewhere but always remind me of my contribution which money can't buy.

What has been your biggest hurdle?

My biggest hurdle like any other business woman has been capital. Sourcing capital to inject into my business has been my biggest challenge. There is a lot that needs to be done but it requires capital, I have ambitions to expand into other territories as a lot of graduates are sitting at home with excellent results , however the operational costs for expansion are a big hurdle. Our company has the potential to grow but finances are proving to be a challenge.
