What does your company do?
We're a bespoke public relations agency, doing press work for businesses and NGOs. We get media coverage for our clients, helping them gain the influence and exposure needed to grow and cultivate meaningful partnerships.
What is your biggest success?
Overcoming having to start over after 2 failures. The first was a different business in which I lost my life savings. The second was when I became fearful in my current business and I lost my clients and almost lost my home. I was pregnant with a 2 year old, and I needed to dig deep to start over. I started cold calling and built my business from there. Since then, I've reached my short term goals of growing my client book and reaching more people through my work.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
It's balancing work and motherhood. That's my challenge. I choose to be a present and active mother as far as possible. But I love what I do and thrive in service of my business and my clients. So, I've had to learn to work under immense pressure, and how to manage myself in highly stressful situations. I can see major growth on that front.
