What does your company do?
NEO by Neo Victoria Rangaka (NVR) is a premium African brand. It was created to help people unveil who they truly are. The name ‘NEO’ represents newness, a new self for the people we hope to inspire. The brand produces expressive, high-quality fashion that encourages people to see the value of who they are, despite where they come from.
What is your biggest success?
I have been a finalist in competitions such as AFI FastTrack and Edcon's 21 Steps to Retail. Incubation programs like the Edcon Design Innovation Challenge as well as the BoxShop Incubator taught me how to grow a profitable fashion business. My brand has been on the runways of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, SA Fashion Week, and Mozambique Fashion Week. I also had the opportunity to take part in a pop-up shop hosted in Milan.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Building a profitable brand that reaches my ideal clientele
