Our comprehensive services include nail management (such as ingrown and fungal infections), nail surgery, treatment of skin conditions like corns, calluses, and warts, wound and ulcer care, diabetic foot management, sports injury management, custom-made orthotics and insoles, foot and ankle management, addressing lower limb swelling, and providing footwear advice.
What is your biggest success?
Our biggest success at Foot Motion Podiatry has been expanding from a single practice into a multi-branch service across Northern KwaZulu-Natal, making quality podiatric care accessible in Ladysmith, Newcastle, and Estcourt. We've proudly introduced advanced 3D technology for custom orthotics, placing us at the forefront of podiatric innovation in South Africa. Additionally, we've become a trusted partner in diabetic foot care, supporting both patients and healthcare providers through education, preventative care, and wound management. Our commitment to excellence has earned us recognition within the healthcare community, and we continue to grow through collaborations, community outreach, and a reputation built on trust, expertise, and results.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Our biggest hurdle at Foot Motion Podiatry has been creating awareness about the importance of podiatric care and educating the public on when and why to see a podiatrist. In many communities, foot health is often overlooked until a serious issue arises, particularly among diabetic patients who are at high risk of complications. Overcoming this knowledge gap has required consistent community engagement, educational outreach, and building trust with both patients and healthcare providers. Additionally, expanding into new areas while maintaining high standards of care has required careful planning, training, and resource management. Despite these challenges, we’ve remained committed to our mission of delivering expert, preventative foot care—and we continue to grow as more people recognize the critical role podiatry plays in overall health.
