Ceno Tech
What does your company do?
CenoTech is a youth-led digital innovation company that empowers communities through skills development and project outsourcing solutions. We specialise in digital literacy training, entrepreneurship programs, and project management services—particularly targeting underserved rural and township areas. Our goal is to bridge the digital divide by equipping individuals and small businesses with practical tools to thrive in the digital economy.
What is your biggest success?
My biggest success has been founding and growing CenoTech into an award-winning digital empowerment company that is transforming lives in rural and township communities. From humble beginnings, we now provide project outsourcing solutions, digital literacy training, and entrepreneurship programs—bridging the gap between technology and under-resourced areas. Winning the MTN Women in Digital Business Challenge and being recognized at the Durban Business Fair as Best Youth in Business 2024 validated the impact of our work. But beyond awards, my true success lies in seeing individuals we’ve trained start businesses, secure jobs, and embrace innovation with confidence. That ripple effect keeps me going.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
My biggest hurdle has been navigating the challenges of building a tech-driven business in underserved communities with limited digital access and funding. As a young woman from a rural area, I faced skepticism, limited resources, and the pressure of proving that innovation can come from overlooked spaces. Launching and scaling CenoTech required resilience—turning rejections into lessons, and barriers into opportunities. I had to constantly self-educate, adapt, and find creative ways to empower others with the same tools I fought to access. Overcoming these hurdles has been my greatest achievement.
