What does your company do?
We are addressing and implement the following SDGs: 13- Climate Action, SDG 9- Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure ,SDG 11-Sustainable Cities and Communities
1. We achieved that by using Drones and AI to map areas that are prone to disasters in order to identify all the potential risks and vulnerabilities . We share the findings with the critical stakeholders such as municipalities, COGTA, UN agencies sand any other Corporates that are big in Climate Change and Sustainability including the affected local communities themselves
2. Training the unemployed youth from those communities to be drone pilots specialising in Disaster Management
3. We host Master classes for the Executives and Politicians about using drones and AI in Disaster Risk Reduction
4. We host annual Drones, AI and GIS in Disaster Risk Reduction and invite all the relevant stakeholders including the policy makers
5. We are building a sensor in partnership with CSIR that would detect the potential disasters such as floods and droughts.
What is your biggest success?
TRAIL BLAZER
1. We are the 1st organisation in Africa to host a SADC based Drone and AI Conference in Disaster Risk Management and which has been running successfully for the past 3 years
2. We are the 1st organisation in South Africa to demonstrate that a drone can carry a WIFI during the occurrence of disasters when the Telecos infrastructure e.g MTN is compromised.
STEAM Education
1. We have reached a target of more than 6000 beneficiaries in STEAM Education for the past 3 years
2. we have conducted several Master classes to Executives and Politicians on using emerging technologies for Disaster Risk Mitigation
ACADEMIC MILESTONE
When i got accepted by Wits Business School to enrol for my PHD degree on drone technology and economic impact for the hosting mining communities. I have since defended my proposal successfully and my ethics being approved and I am about to start with the data collection phase.

What has been your biggest hurdle?
Our biggest hurdle is to raise funding for manufacturing our products to support Disaster Risk Management services
Scaling our services to new markets including mining clients
