What does your company do?
State Diamond Trader is a state owned entity that is self funded. It's mandate is to transform the Diamond industry by making diamonds available to historical disadvantaged South Africans for beneficiation purposes.
What is your biggest success?
I launched a Diamond Show in February, it's objective was to create access to markets for our clients to sell their polished diamonds. The show attracted international buyers to buy South African cut and polished diamonds
What has been your biggest hurdle?
For our clients to gain access to funding
