What has been your biggest hurdle?
Our biggest hurdle has been navigating the complex and often delayed processes of securing accreditation, funding, and stakeholder buy-in—particularly as a female-led training organisation committed to transformation. Gaining QCTO accreditation required rigorous compliance, resource investment, and continuous alignment with evolving national standards. Additionally, working within under-resourced communities has presented challenges in learner accessibility, digital literacy, and infrastructure.
Despite these obstacles, we have remained resilient, adaptive, and solution-oriented—leveraging partnerships, technology, and innovation to extend our reach and impact. These hurdles have strengthened our leadership, refined our systems, and affirmed our commitment to developing skills that change lives. Every challenge has shaped us into a more responsive and credible training partner within South Africa’s education and economic development ecosystem.
