What does your company do?
Tuu Post is a tech-enabled outsourcing company that manages last-mile retail, a distributed supply chain node network, and non-discretionary front-office administrative tasks related to application, registration, onboarding, document collation, retail and customer adoption services for digital, financial, mobile, human resources, lifestyle and health service brands to reach grassroots communities.
What is your biggest success?
Signing the first corporate contract is and will remain one of my biggest highlights as it finally validated all the hard work that we had done as a team. It was validating moment me as a first-time, female entrepreneur; I suddenly had the feeling that perhaps I do belong at the business table and there is value in what I have put out into the world. I'm proud to say I've retained them with our second renewal contract signed this year, and I am still personally involved with this client, as client services lead on that account.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
As a female founder, managing director, and technology innovator, the triple challenges of imposter syndrome, limited social capital, and societal perceptions are issues that I have had to tackle in my journey towards building an impactful and resilient business. This lack of self-confidence as a first-time entrepreneur almost hindered me from pursing my dream. I was my biggest hurdle until I decided that I deserve to be an entrepreneur, but the only way to succeed was to do it on my terms. That being, my authentic self, a female business founder with all the positive attributes that comes from being a woman.
