What does your company do?
We specialize in second-hand components for trucks and machines found in the earthmoving, mining, construction, transport and agricultural industries. We're also contracted on occasion to sell trucks and machines including tractors, excavators, trucks, ulldozers, harvesters, dump trucks etc
What is your biggest success?
I have been able to assist big mining and construction contractors and big transport companies throughout the years with components, our comeback rate is very low since we are a second-hand dealer that has majority of our components tested and checked and that we got to export across the globe, especially greater parts of Africa such as Zambia, Angola, DRCand the likes at some point. From engines to different to smaller components.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Everything to do with being a white female, owning and successfully running and highly technical business in a male dominated industry. Where I am looked down upon, not seen as an equal regardless of my rigorous work ethic, access to certain privellages are denied...
