What does your company do?
We provide contract mining service to mineral rights holders were we mine their reserve at a rand per cube basis.We provide equipment and operators and manage the productivity.We work for various companies including Seriti,Glencore,Thungela
What is your biggest success?
Biggest success has been the ability to start up the company in 2018 and increase its revenue to current levels of R1.2 bn annual turnover,employee directly approximately 750 people and the ability to involve the community in the sites we work in.This has been through employment opportunities,business opportunities and community programs which benefit the community members.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Biggest hurdle has been the ability to secure financing due to the high capital cost of the business.This has led to an innovative way of growing the business through exploring models which allow for less capital requirements while growing the companies balance sheet to levels attractive to the financial institutions.
