What does your company do?
We manufacture fashion accessories and requested bespoke pieces from newspaper. The product range from handbags, warings, belts, corset, inyerior deco sich as placemats, coasters.
What is your biggest success?
The business has been in operation since 2007 but suffered a major setback during covid and shut down. Last year I revived the business and this year we are doing a collaboration for Paris Fashion Week in Octiber 2025. Showcasing our accessories range alongside an upcoming fashion designer.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
The business is a social entetprise and is based on the skills development foe under skilled labour. The skill itself is developed by muself using my fashion background. Securing financial assistance to teach othwrs has been a hurdle since I dont have accrefitation to teach and to be accrefited one needs a dunctioning studio or centre that ia set up, which I dont have money to do that. Also people this skill is deaignes for are unemployed from rural communities and are unable to pay for learning the skill.
