What does your company do?
K-9 Adventures is a one-of-a-kind listing platform that only lists pet-friendly places that we have verified as being pet-friendly. So many establishments falsely advertise as being pet-friendly, and once you book (or worse, check in), you realise that they do not allow pets at all.
We cover everything from Camping, self-catering, Hotels, wine farms, restaurants, and even high tea. If you see it on our website, you are assured that the establishment is pet-friendly.
We also link back directly to the establishment's website for future bookings.
What is your biggest success?
K-9 Adventures started as an idea and has turned into a dream. We have now even joined up with WeLovePetsSA digital magazine and where we used to only cover the Western Cape we have now extended to Gauteng province.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Our biggest hurdle was getting started. When I had the idea of doing this listing site my family and even my husband did not believe in me, they wanted to know which establishment would invite me to visit them and do a listing and article. Much to their surprise I started getting invites and grew from strength to strength
