What does your company do?
Psychosocial support fpcusing on mental health, linkages to care and support, trauma counselling, Advancing Sustainable Development Goals (gender equality), promoting freedom from violence, combating discrimination against women and children and participating in Glocal changemaker programs aimed at reducing inequalities. being Masifunde Changemaker programme & Glocal Changemaker Network in schools facilitated by Grade 9 focusing on sustainable development goals (SDG 5, 10 & 17) GBVF, HIV/AIDS, Gender Equality, Climate change and Environmental Impact. We have 7 board members, 11 qualified social workers(Facilitators ) for Social behavioral change programme, 4 Admin staff, 1 Monitoring and Evaluation, Project Manager, Finance, Paralegal Volunteers ( 3), We are funded by Department of Social Development, Department of Justice, GBVF Respond fund, Masifunde Changemaker and German BMZ.
What is your biggest success?
Launched the 1st Annual Mens Conference in Sekhukhune, Expanded our services to Gauteng and Mpumalanga Province, Launched a Primary Health Clinic under the NPC on the 3rd March 2025. Managed to reach over 5000 Learners and 30 school on Social Behavioral Change Programme. Being part of the Glocal Changemaker in Germany working on Sustainable development goals 2030 focusing on Gender Equality and Collaboration, currently partnered with an organization in Germany to train and empower black women in rural areas.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Collaboration with other NPO for effective programme implementation, NPOs do not realize the importance of working together, strengthening each other for better implementation and impact. Other than that it has been Monitoring and Evaluation but we managed to employee an M&E Office to ensure that our reporting is in order and compliance.
