What does your company do?
Nina is a wedding photographer, specialising in a mixture of editorial and documentary photography styles. She also focusses on family & newborn photos and community projects.
What is your biggest success?
My biggest success as a wedding photographer in the luxury market includes fully booking a wedding season a year in advance and securing an international wedding with all expenses covered. However, what truly matters to me goes beyond these milestones. I’ve had the privilege of photographing a community project for Mbongeni Buthelezi and covering charity events for Solidarity, which have allowed me to give back through my craft. Additionally, I’ve captured the journeys of many women who have overcome breast cancer, as well as those who are celebrating their bodies as they are. These experiences are incredibly empowering and resonate deeply with my mission as a photographer: to tell authentic stories and celebrate resilience and beauty in all its forms.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Balancing motherhood (I have a 3-year old son) while managing my business. Being away from my family a lot while traveling for weddings and events is hard, but I have a wonderful support system.
