What does your company do?
It is a Bio Psychosocial Therapy Clinic
We are a PTY LTD and a NPO.
The company delivers services from skin care Therapy removal of warts, we formulate skin treatments products for the clients skin type, till IV drips.
The NPO wing conducts Therapy Sessions from in Schools drug testing till old age Therapy sessions. Grief bereavement sessions and support groups. Trauma debriefing as well as parental skills. WE TAKE MEDICAL AID.
What is your biggest success?
Moving from the our old building of one room space to a larger office. From a location to Town, closer and accessible to everyone. Paying deposit and rent amount was steep but we managed. The other challenge has been that we were building from stretch the previous work space we had. We bought land and started a building from stretch. We got a funding to complete the project, service provider did not deliver. That’s when we moved to Empangeni town for rental space.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Buying drug testing kits. We conduct in schools drug testing and assist in running support group sessions for drug use disorder challenges student when they are still in the experimental stages. Some parents come straight to our office, when noticing different behaviours with their children. We provide counselling therapy sessions while monitoring with Detoxification drips till tested negative and able to continue with school.
