What does your company do?

We provide easy-to-follow teaching guides that help teachers confidently deliver coding lessons. We also offer hands-on training for educators, enabling them to deliver engaging, learner-focused lessons that spark creativity and critical thinking in learners. We offer a range of events and programs, including: 1. CodeFunnatics A Coding challenge where learners take part and compete against one another for a prize. It will test their level of understanding of blockbase coding and textbase coding. CodeFunnatics is a vibrant coding challenge where learners compete while exploring the world of programming and game development. They gain hands-on experience with concepts of computing, various programming languages, and web development. There are various categories for the learners to take part; 1.1. Quiz coding master Quiz coding master is an interactive and engaging game that tests and challenges participants with questions in key areas of Algorithm and Coding, Internet and E-Communication Skills, and Application Skills. 1.2. Programming master Learners will demonstrate their understanding of Algorithms and coding, and Application skills by programming their own game, animation, website, and demonstrating their understanding of computing. They will follow the provided instructions to succeed. Application Skills learners will be tested practically with Microsoft applications, and for higher grades, they will develop their own site using HTML. 3. Innovative Teachers Recognition We will recognize and celebrate outstanding educators who are deeply committed to their learners. This event will honor educators who have demonstrated unwavering dedication to their profession, courageously challenged traditional teaching methods, and embraced innovative pedagogies to inspire and engage their learners, making education a truly enjoyable and transformative experience. Inclusive Education Advocate 4. Work Readiness Program We are dedicated to empowering teachers to become experts in navigating the rapidly evolving digital landscape in South Africa. There is a significant shortage of educators skilled in teaching coding and programming languages. Many teachers lack a deep understanding of both block-based coding and text-based programming languages. This skills gap limits the ability of schools to prepare learners for the demands of the modern digital world. To address this challenge, we aim to provide comprehensive training and support for teachers, equipping them with both the technical knowledge and effective teaching methodologies needed to deliver coding lessons confidently. Our program focuses on upskilling educators to not only grasp coding concepts but also inspire and guide learners to become future game developers, App developers, website developers, software developers, and animators.

What is your biggest success?

My biggest success so far has been laying a strong foundation for my vision. I've developed a clear plan, designed engaging content for coding, and started building relationships with educators. I’ve also taken steps to understand my market, like identifying the needs of schools and teachers, and creating solutions tailored to them. Even though I haven’t had clients yet, the feedback and interest I’ve received from educators has been encouraging, and it's shown me that I'm on the right path. I consider this early progress a big success, as it’s setting the stage for real impact.

What has been your biggest hurdle?

My biggest hurdle has been getting my first clients or partnerships. As someone starting, it's been a challenge to gain the trust of schools and educators, especially without a track record or past clients to show. But I see this as part of the journey. I’ve used this time to build a strong foundation, developing quality content, researching what schools really need, and positioning myself to offer real value.
