What is your biggest success?
Your Purpose is not what you do. It’s what happens to people when you do what you do. This summarises the depth of what success means to me. It lies within the people I have put my hand up to serve, who notice and have been positively impacted by our contribution in society. we create and execute marketing strategies that leverage the power of authentic storytelling. This is really our strongest USP, we have managed to build really strong campaigns and solutions that matter. To serve key clients such as the Innovator Trust, Standard Bank, AEON Asset Management; to name a few already highlights our value within the marketplace. We exert emotional labour in search of empathy – the empathy to imagine what someone else would want, what they might believe, what story will resonate with them. We don’t do this work because we feel like it in the moment. We do this work, this draining emotional labour, Because we are professionals, we are experts and excellent at what we do, and because we want to make change happen. We are constantly seeking for change that goes beyond the ordinary. In a world of rapid changes, our kind of marketing seeks to change the culture to one offering a new emotional state, a step closer to the dreams and desires of our customers. We are building a unique culture, one that is user centric, empathy led and driven by the actual needs of customers.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Running a service business Is so difficult, you always have to think 5 steps ahead, understand the cost while minimising them at the same time. My biggest hurdle has been understanding the true cost of every single business decision I make on a daily basis.
