What does your company do?
We supply various food and beverage items, cleaning supplies and guest amenities to our clients. What sets us apart from other suppliers are that we offer a fully customizable product line with regards to guest amenities, and food and beverages, allowing our clients to integrate their own personal taste and preferences into the branding, packaging and/or fragrancing of their requested products. We also as an added bonus, offer custom sourcing services to support our clients in saving them time and make ordering convenient. If what they're looking for isn't a ready-made item, we will manufacture and package items to suit their needs. The sky is truly the limit on what we would and want to do for our clients.
What is your biggest success?
Ultimately surviving the first year of business, through the peaks and falls of high and low seasons in the hospitality industry, and managing to have my business qualify in becoming VAT registered which in turn allows access to clients I could not serve prior to becoming registered. This has been my proudest moment to date.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Financial strain has been the biggest hurdle, not always having the finances to travel and see new potential clients as I have to prioritize income to fund new stock or equipment. Strategizing how to maintain fulfilling orders, looking for new avenues to open up an income stream, temporary and permanent alike, which has been the biggest test, and I've truly learnt how to hustle during these big hurdles to make ends meet.
