A sustainable property development company, that upcycles used shipping containers into innovative building structures with a unique aesthetic, sustainability designed to create an energy efficient and environmentally low carbon impact atmosphere.
What is your biggest success?
Secured over R400 000 in grant funding and generated over R600 000 revenue over the past 3 years. Awarded Social innovation winner by the SAB foundation, Indalovator winner by Indalo inclusive NPC in partnership with Nedbank, award winner for the UK Innovate More Than A Woman competition.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Although our mission is clear and conscience to the service of people living in marginalised communities, the reality is that most our clients do not have the financial capacity to acquire our products and services. Our biggest hurdle continues to be the ability to secure substantial funding to support our lower income clients and as prices of material continue to rise it has become harder to decrease our prices to fit their income bracket.
