Izmanga Media and Advertising
What does your company do?
Marketing and Advertising
What is your biggest success?
My biggest success story is founding Izmanga Media & Advertising, a creative agency born from vision, prayer, and resilience. Starting with no funding, I grew the business into an award-winning agency, recently named Best Creative Media Agency 2025 – Gauteng by MEA Markets. We’ve helped small brands elevate their presence and impact through innovative design and strategic storytelling. Despite personal and financial challenges, I remained committed to building something that serves both purpose and community. One of our proudest moments was self-funding and producing a wedding video that moved our client to tears—a reminder that media can restore joy. This journey has affirmed my calling and ability to create opportunities, even from limited resources. Now, I’m preparing to bring my children’s book, Mikhentsa and the Village of Smiles, to life through animation—proof that women can birth both vision and legacy.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
My biggest hurdle has been building a business from the ground up with no financial backing, industry connections, or safety net—while raising children as a single mother. Starting Izmanga Media & Advertising meant navigating inconsistent income, self-doubt, and limited resources, all while learning to wear multiple hats: designer, strategist, admin, and marketer. There were months when I had to choose between investing in my business or meeting basic personal needs. The emotional toll of delayed progress, coupled with moments of isolation and rejection, made perseverance incredibly hard. But through prayer, resilience, and a deep sense of purpose, I kept going. Each small breakthrough—whether covering our first business expenses or receiving an award—became a reminder that my journey matters. This hurdle taught me to lead with faith, innovate under pressure, and create space for others facing similar odds.
