Wilder Reverie Photography
What does your company do?
Wilder Reverie Photography takes amazing, creative and unique photos. I love exploring a stand out approach, but most of all showing my clients how stunning they truly are.
What is your biggest success?
I breed success with every photoshoot the moment I turn around the camera and the client sees their photo. Their explosive joy and expression to see themselves in a new way is a major accomplishment every time.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Cash flow, bookings and equipment upgrades.
I am still new, and I often do free work to express my creativity. In this way I nurture my style and boost my growth with new challenges. Photography to me is not always about a full book, but having a creative idea and being able to capture feelings.
But paid work is not a lot. I also face health challenges (two brain surgeries most recently) and I cannot work full time anymore. I used to be a teacher, and photography has given me something to get out of bed for.
This impacts income alot. I can do normal shoots, as I can book them with enough space in between to recover. But I cannot do weddings where the most income is. Upgrading equipment, getting a editing computer and hire associate photographers will allow me to grow, but without reliability to book a constant flow of clients had hindered my growth. Setting up a studio will also allow me to work from home more comfortably with my health. But it's extremely expensive.
