Nthane Supply Hub
What does your company do?
Nthane Supply Hub is a supply and distribution company that partners with local municipalities to provide essential goods, equipment, and support. We specialize in sourcing and delivering items across various sectors, including mechanical spares, technical equipment, and funded supplies for public services. Our mission is to streamline procurement processes and ensure municipalities have reliable access to the tools and materials they need to operate efficiently.
It is with great hope and determination that we aspire to expand our footprint and venture into sectors such as construction, mining, and other industries that have historically been difficult for women-owned businesses to access. By breaking barriers and creating space for inclusion, we aim to not only grow as a company but to empower others and set a precedent for transformation within these industries.
What is your biggest success?
Nthane Supply Hub’s biggest success has been securing and successfully fulfilling supply contracts for a local municipality. This milestone not only demonstrated our operational capability and reliability but also marked a significant achievement for a woman-owned business operating in a traditionally male-dominated space. It has laid a solid foundation for trust, credibility, and growth, proving that with integrity, consistency, and vision, women-led enterprises can thrive and lead in the supply and logistics sector.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Our biggest hurdle at Nthane Supply Hub has been access to finance. As a woman-owned business operating in a competitive and traditionally male-dominated industry, we’ve faced significant challenges in securing the funding needed to scale our operations and meet the growing demands of our clients. Financial limitations have impacted our ability to invest in infrastructure, purchase stock in bulk, and expand into new sectors such as construction and mining. Despite this, we have remained resilient and resourceful—building strong relationships with suppliers, reinvesting profits wisely, and delivering quality service with integrity. Our journey has required us to be creative and strategic, often doing more with less. Overcoming these challenges has not only strengthened our operational capabilities but also deepened our commitment to opening doors for other women entrepreneurs. We believe that with the right support and funding, we can grow even further and make a lasting impact in underserved spaces.
