What is your biggest success?
In a remarkably short period, Flume Invites has achieved significant milestones, a testament to its vision and dedication. Acceptance into the prestigious FNB Entrepreneurship Programme marked a pivotal moment, followed by public recognition from Jibby Media Marketing as a leading businesswoman and the driving force behind the company. However, the most profound success lies in the trust and collaborative partnerships forged with esteemed corporate entities such as FIA - Financial Intermediaries Association, BAIC, and Edge Exec. This validation from established organisations, recognising the value and impact of Flume Invites, has been instrumental in fueling substantial sales growth and solidifying the company's position in the market. This early traction underscores the potential for continued expansion and success.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
The most significant hurdle has been embracing discomfort. Transitioning from established corporate roles to pursuing Flume Invites involved overcoming internal resistance – a tendency to delay, feeling ill-equipped, or believing I needed more preparation. However, I've learned that entrepreneurship inherently pushes personal and professional boundaries. It demanded stepping outside my comfort zone: actively promoting myself and my business, seeking opportunities, and maintaining momentum despite discouragement or setbacks. Ultimately, the greatest challenge wasn't external business factors, but the necessary internal shifts in mindset and behaviour required to thrive as an entrepreneur.
