Wise Move is an online booking platform that connects people in need of moving services with local moving companies.
What is your biggest success?
We are extremely proud of the value we add to owner-operated businesses in the moving and transport space. Our platform makes it easy for them to connect with customers, expand their reach and streamline their operations. More than [insert number] owner-operated businesses are active on our platform. This contribution to promoting entrepreneurship in South Africa is what keeps us motivated.
In 2025 we are set to double our revenue to around R40 million, an exponential increase that we are very proud of, particularly as it allows us to expand our services, our reach and our value proposition even more.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
On a personal level, one of my biggest hurdles has been learning to delegate and trust my team fully. As a founder, it's natural to want to be involved in every detail, but I've realized that empowering my team and leaning on their expertise not only helps the business grow, but also allows me to focus on strategic growth and innovation.
From a business standpoint, our biggest hurdle has been bridging the gap between a traditional industry and a tech-driven solution. We had to work hard to build trust and show the value of using an online platform for booking moves, making sure that both customers and carriers felt supported and confident in this new approach.
