What does your company do?
Reel Life NPC is the training & implementation partner for Reel Gardening. We are focused on improving food security, nutrition, education, and economies in under-resourced communities.
We provide hands-on training for unique school and household garden programs to empower families and learners to grow their own food. We also conduct monitoring and evaluation to ensure long-term sustainability.
What is your biggest success?
Reaching over 70 000 people growing for food security by end of 2023. Slowly but surely, food poverty in this country is being reduced and realising that I am part of that solution has been one of my greatest achievements.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Balancing impact and scale. Growing the NPC without compromising the integrity of our social mission has been a delicate balancing act. We have had to adapt sustainably, build trust with communities, and ensure that the organisation doesn’t drift toward commercial and profit-adjacent priorities at the expense of authentic community empowerment.
