What does your company do?
Phenomenal Young Persons NPO 181-231 is a wholistic youth empowerment organisation that Inspires young people unto entrepreneurship, leadership and education. The organisation has been in operation for 12 years now but only officially registered with the Department of Social Development in 2017. In its total years of existence we have impacted over 35 000 young lives, worked with over 10 institutions. We are a solid partner with the department of both basic and higher education in empowering young people. We exists at University of Pretoria, Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University, Tshwane University of Technology and at the TVET colleges as a society. Through these various structures we organise entrepreneurship and youth serminars for students. In high schools we take the learners to various tertiary institutions open days, organise academic award ceremonies for the top achievers. In partnership with the Dr Andie Family Practice we also do community and staff wellness and health outreaches.
What is your biggest success?
Establishing a group of companies consisting of 4 entities.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Finding funding to grow and expand our businesses and NPO.
