What is your biggest success?
My biggest success has to be being one of the youngest independent dental professionals to open my own practice at the age of 25. 2 years later I was able to purchase one of the oldest buildings in my home town, which happend to be a dental practice for 49 years prior to me taking over. I was the first woman of colour to own the building(which is over 100 years old). In the space of 2 years, I went from 2 staff members to 10.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Biggest hurdle was definitely going into business so young and also being a woman of colour. I had to build up a lot of trust around me.
