Tococento
What does your company do?
Tococento is a proudly woman-led logistics company driving excellence in bulk transportation across South Africa. We specialize in moving high-volume goods, safely, efficiently, and on time, for clients across mining, construction, and industrial sectors.
Founded and led by a woman with a passion for progress, Tococento is more than just a transporter, we’re a force behind economic movement. Our operations are built on integrity, precision, and a deep commitment to uplifting communities through job creation and inclusive growth.
At Tococento, we don’t just move goods, we move boundaries.
What is your biggest success?
Tococento’s biggest success as an emerging, woman-led business has been breaking into South Africa’s male-dominated logistics and bulk transportation industry, with purpose and resilience.
We are proud to have been selected in 2025 for the SAB Foundation Tholoana Programme (TP17 cohort), a prestigious initiative that supports high-potential entrepreneurs driving social and economic impact. This milestone affirms our vision and strengthens our capacity to scale sustainably.
While we’re still growing, our commitment to excellence, empowerment, and reliability continues to set us apart. Tococento isn’t just moving goods, we’re moving boundaries.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Our biggest hurdle right now is continuing to grow and compete in a male-dominated industry where access to opportunities, funding, and high-value contracts remains limited for emerging, women-led businesses.
Building credibility, expanding our network, and gaining access to the right platforms is a constant effort, but one we’re fully committed to overcoming. This hurdle is real and present, but it’s also what drives us to keep pushing, keep showing up, and keep proving that women belong at the forefront of logistics.
