What does your company do?
We help businesses win work they shouldn’t lose. nFold is a strategic pitch and proposal consultancy. We turn messy, last-minute, copy-paste proposals into smart, persuasive bids that actually win. We don’t do fluff or generic templates—we bring structure, strategy, and messaging that stands out.
We’ve built three focused service lines. Win Works is where we lead and write high-stakes proposals—public or private sector. We help clients plan better, position smarter, and pitch like they mean it. With Creative Edge, we design content that sells—think sharp company profiles, standout presentations, and visual storytelling that lands before a word is read. And through Bid Mastery, we train bid teams to win more often—with practical, hands-on training and certifications like APMP that go beyond theory.

What is your biggest success?
Our biggest success has been building nFold into more than a proposal consultancy—we’ve built a strategic partner that helps businesses compete smarter and win more work. We don’t just write proposals; we help our clients shift how they think, plan, and pitch. That mindset shift has been a game-changer.
We’ve moved from being seen as “bid support” to being invited into boardrooms. We’ve trained teams across industries, helped win major contracts, and improved proposal quality in ways that actually show up in the win column. But the real success? Helping organisations realise that proposals aren’t admin—they’re strategic weapons. We’ve helped clients build capability, not dependency.
For us, it’s also personal. We’ve built a business that reflects what we believe in: excellence without ego, truth without fluff, and care without compromise. Yes, we’ve grown revenue. But more importantly, we’ve grown impact, relevance, and reputation. And that’s the kind of success that matters.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
One of our biggest challenges has been changing how people see proposal work. Most still treat it like admin. We've had to educate, reframe, and prove—again and again—that proposals are strategic tools for growth. That shift doesn't happen overnight, but it's now what we're known for. As Africa's only APMG-audited APMP training provider, we're raising the standard—and the expectations—for what good looks like.
We also run three very different service lines: Win Works, Creative Edge, and Bid Mastery. Each has its own rhythm, audience, and value. Balancing the big-picture vision with day-to-day delivery requires focus, smart systems, and a lot of context switching.
And like many South African entrepreneurs, we’ve faced the usual suspects—red tape that slows momentum, cash flow pressures when scaling, and more than one “expert” who turned out to be a liability. But we’ve stayed agile, built smarter, and kept moving forward—without lowering our standards or losing our edge.
