What does your company do?
We offer online courses in the field of neurodiversity that is open to everybody. Parents, caregivers, teachers as well as professionals.
We aim to empower people with knowledge that is accessible, easy to understand, filled with practical applications and that is proven theory.
Our goal is to offer courses on subjects that are more unique, and focusses on the chosen topic in detail.
We are also collaborating for future courses with international professionals so as to broaden the scope and knowledge base. Currently we are busy collaborating and putting courses together with professionals in the USA and UK. We also have an affiliate that is based in Australia.
We are also in the process of creating free courses for parents with a company called The Start Up Tribe, as we want to help those who cannot afford to pay for courses, and might need specific help regarding their neurodivergent children.
Future plans include translating the courses into isiXhosa and have them as audio courses to support the many play schools and parents in the rural communities.
What is your biggest success?
Converting my company to an online platform during covid. I used to travel and present.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Converting my courses to an online platform with zero budget due to covid!
