What does your company do?
Scented by Karabo Pty Ltd is a Proudly South African company that manufactures home fragranced products. We pride ourselves in being eco conscious that is why we utilise eco friendly, biodegradable and renewable natural resources to produce our products. In our current range we have soy wax candles, Reed diffusers, car diffusers, linen and room mists. Our packaging is recyclable and reusable which speaks to our commitment to a sustainable and clean environment. We offer a variety of luxury scents, that is why our slogan says “ We are the essence of refined fragrance and sophistication”
What is your biggest success?
As scented by Karabo we have managed to get our products into Edenvinne beauty stores both Menlyn Mall and Randburg square branches. We have been nominated for a few entrepreneurial awards , and we are currently on the Jika green seeds program where they have partnered with Heineken beverages and we are part of the WENOSA 2025 Corhot for the Women In Business program.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Getting bigger machinery, a bigger manufacturing space and hiring more youth to allow for scaling up , all this requires funding.
