What is your biggest success?
My biggest success was paying off a R500,000 loan for my equipment within just one year—using only profits from my business. As a first-time entrepreneur juggling a full-time job, this was a huge milestone. I started with small machines and tight deadlines, but through determination, late nights, and a commitment to quality, I built a loyal customer base. Each order brought me closer to financial freedom. Watching the loan balance shrink month by month was proof that my hard work and smart reinvestments were paying off. Clearing that debt in my first year gave me the confidence and capital to grow. It wasn’t just a win—it was the moment I knew my business could succeed.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
My biggest hurdle was managing the balance between high demand and limited production capacity. Running a side business with only small machines, tight turnaround times, and a full-time day job tested my resilience and time management. Orders poured in faster than I could produce, forcing me to get creative with scheduling, prioritize efficiency, and make tough decisions. Every late night and early morning taught me the value of persistence and innovation. Despite the challenges, I never compromised on quality, and that dedication helped me build loyal customers. Overcoming this taught me how to scale smartly and laid the foundation for future growth.
