What does your company do?
I am a leather worker. Started with arm bracelets an worked myself up to become a shoe maker. Making sheep skin slippers to veld shoes. Happy to help people with foot disabilities. Make every product on request and specifications.
What is your biggest success?
My sheepskin slippers put me on the map. Hand made.
With the little profit I saved, I bought a sewing machine. Then another one.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
I knew nothing about leather working g. I had to learn everything the hard way. I did not have any experience or education in this line.
Trial and error. And YouTube. That is how I learned. Recently employed a lady who has experience. Now my vellies is starting to get shape.
