What does your company do?
It is the mission of the UP Youth Choir to provide children of all different
backgrounds with a unique program of music education and choral
performance that seeks to fulfil and develop each singer's potential,
while creating a model of artistic excellence and diversity that enriches
the community.
What is your biggest success?
International Success
In December, the choir embarked on an international tour to Hungary, Slovenia, and Austria, culminating in their participation at the International Festival of Advent and Christmas Music in Bratislava, Slovakia. The choir triumphed as category winners in all three of their performance categories and were honoured with the prestigious Grand Prix award.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Funding to do what we need to do to empower the Youth of South Africa.
