What does your company do?
We are a 100% black and female-owned law firm specialising in civil litigation, road accident fund claims, corporate and commercial law, family and divorce law, debt collection, property law and evictions, unlawful arrests and detention, bail applications, trusts and wills, administration of deceased estates, and labour and employment law. What is your biggest success?
Personally, it was being admitted as an attorney of the high court of South Africa, and for opening my own law firm at the age of 26. I am also a graduate of U.S. Government’s Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) program for the 2021
cohort, and an alumnus of the International Women’s Forum YLC-IDEAL Program for the 2023 cohort
For my law firm it was obtaining our first high court order in favour of our client, and for being a finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year Award at the 2025 IMM Institute
Excellence Awards.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
My biggest hurdle is not being able to secure paying clients, I sometimes do work for clients who don’t want to pay and that costs me financially and demotivates me.
