What does your company do?
We work together with Moleboge Foundation in our community called Kraaipan in the North West. We host a yearly female netball and soccer tournament. Our objective is to stand against GBV, having all the abused females in the community to participate in sport. As we know sports is one thing that gives one courage and builds confidence once again. We give out medals and trophies for the winning and also a new kit to the winning team. The tournament always takes places in August as a symbol of celebrating women in our community. This year we will hosting the 3rd annual tournament and the previous two were very successful with different sponsors like Hollywood, Department of Sports and Culture, Albany bakery and many more.
What is your biggest success?
Our greatest achievement I must say is seeing the numbers of people that come from different nearby communities to come and support our tournament. The excitement of the kids that partake on the ground and the loyal sponsors like Hollywood that always sticks to their promises.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
our challenge is that we hardly get support from our local municipality office, they never participate with any assistance of which we are more relying on them other than external sponsors.
