What is your biggest success?
Our biggest success has been launching TheConnect Africa as a self-funded, community-centered platform that’s already drawing engagement from professionals and entrepreneurs across the continent. Without big budgets or VC backing, we've built a dynamic, AI-powered space that’s part research hub, part forum, and part launchpad for African excellence. But beyond tech, our true success is cultural: we’re proving that African platforms can be world-class, proudly local, and globally relevant. That validation of seeing people connect, share, and grow because of our work is the ultimate win.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Our biggest hurdle has been navigating growth without compromising purpose. In a noisy digital landscape, cutting through the clutter with limited funding while staying true to a Pan-African, values-driven mission hasn’t been easy. Building trust in an era of scams, data misuse, and broken promises meant choosing slower, more authentic community-building over fast metrics. But that choice has paid off: every challenge refined our clarity, deepened our resilience, and sharpened our edge. Now, we’re not just surviving but we’re building a movement.
