I'm not just a hairstylist — I'm someone who believes in the power of connection, confidence, and care. I've been qualified since I was 16, and now, at 28, I run my own professional home salon while also offering mobile services. Whether I'm styling someone in my cozy space or visiting aged care homes to bring a little joy through a haircut, my goal is simple: to make people feel seen, valued, and beautiful — inside and out.
Every person deserves to feel good about themselves, and for me, it's more than hair — it’s about uplifting spirits, building relationships, and bringing light into someone’s day. Hair grows, but so does confidence, comfort, and self-love — and I’m here for all of it.
What is your biggest success?
My greatest success lies in building a business that embodies passion, resilience, and purpose. Since becoming a qualified hairstylist at 16, I have grown from an aspiring professional to the owner of a thriving home salon with mobile services, including compassionate visits to aged care homes. This journey reflects my commitment not only to excellence in hairstyling but to fostering confidence, dignity, and connection in every client I serve.
As a woman entrepreneur, I take pride in breaking barriers and creating opportunities that uplift others. What has been your biggest hurdle?
One of my biggest hurdles has been establishing and growing my business while balancing the challenges of limited resources and building trust as a young woman entrepreneur. Starting at 16, I faced skepticism due to my age and had to prove my skills and professionalism continuously. Additionally, expanding services to mobile and aged care visits required adapting to unique client needs and overcoming logistical challenges.
However, these obstacles strengthened my resilience, creativity, and commitment to my vision. They pushed me to develop strong relationships, deliver exceptional service, and embrace flexibility. Today, I’m proud that those early challenges shaped me into a confident business owner who is dedicated not only to hairstyling but also to making a meaningful impact in my community. Overcoming these hurdles has been empowering and remains a driving force behind my continued growth and success.
