What does your company do?

MindUnique Education was founded in 2015, following my departure from the formal tertiary education sector. Drawing on my background in radiography, education, psychology, and neuroscience (neuro-integrative health), I established the organisation to address the growing concerns about the adverse health effects of modern digital lifestyles, prolonged overexposure to electromagnetic fields (EMFs) (increased electro-pollution), excessive screen time, and technology-related stress. The misuse of screens can easily lead to the underdevelopment of children's brains and bodies, leading to the misdiagnosis of neurological and learning disorders such as Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), delays in speech and language development, nearsightedness, lack of emotional regulation and social skills (also related to Electronic Screen Syndrome), unbalanced physical development, and digital dependency and addiction in toddlers, children and teenagers. Children’s overexposure to digital technologies and screen time at an early age can significantly harm their overall development, including cognitive, emotional, social, and physical growth, as well as their posture, balance, and sensory integration. MindUnique Education offers educational programmes, coaching, and workshops for parents, teachers, learners, and role models, focusing on promoting digital well-being and a happy, healthy, balanced lifestyle. The core philosophy of the organisation emphasises the importance of supporting parents in optimally developing their children's unique potential in a technology-saturated world while encouraging happy and healthy boundaries with digital devices. As part of its holistic approach, MindUnique Education incorporates the concept of neuro-integrative health and learning, which combines neuroscience with educational strategies to optimise learning and well-being outcomes. I have also used the platform to author various articles, books, and training materials on digital well-being, health and screen dependency. MindUnique is a wellness and technology company that specialises in digital well-being, electromagnetic field (EMF) protection, and holistic health and well-being services. It provides tools, therapies, natural products, and education designed to help individuals reduce digital overload and mitigate the effects of long-term exposure to electromagnetic fields (EMFs). Mindunique also offers a range of unique wellness products and courses that emphasise health and well-being in the digital age. MindUnique's mission centres on restoring the balance between humans and their digital environments. It supports individuals experiencing electrohypersensitivity (EHS), digital fatigue, poor sleep, chronic stress, cancers, auto-immune and other illnesses linked to technology overuse and increased electro-pollution. Its work is rooted in the philosophy of digital rebalance, which involves reducing EMF exposure, detoxifying the body, and encouraging mindful digital well-being practices. I am a neuro-integrative health and digital well-being coach and a recognised advocate for digital well-being and holistic health awareness. My work through MindUnique has been acknowledged nationally and internationally, particularly for addressing conditions such as electro-hypersensitivity (EHS), digital addiction, digital dementia, a cognitive decline linked to overuse of technology, topics I have addressed through public engagements and media platforms such as RSG, Maroela Media, Radio 702, Smile FM, EWN and Health4You. MindUnique combines cutting-edge technology with holistic natural therapies to provide a comprehensive health and wellness experience. Key services include Quantum Magnetic Resonance Analysis (QMRA) and biofeedback scanning for health diagnostics, Rife Therapy using targeted frequencies to enhance cellular health and healing, Ozone Therapy for detoxification and healing, and LifeWave phototherapy technology, which supports the body’s natural healing processes through photobiomodulation and reactivation of the body's stem cells. An essential aspect of the organisation’s work includes the development and promotion of EMF radiation protective products. MindUnique offers a proprietary line of WoWe® EMF (electromagnetic field) radiation-protective products, including EMF-shielding wearables and accessories designed to reduce daily exposure to electronic radiation. Under the brand WoWe®, short for "World of Well-being," we introduced a line of high-density, high-quality EMF shielding tools designed to help mitigate the health risks associated with long-term exposure to man-made and pulsed electromagnetic radiation emanating from cell phones, cell phone towers, Wi-Fi routers, smart meters and watches and other wireless devices. Unfortunately, there has been a significant increase in Electrosmog (electro-pollution) levels in our immediate environment over the past two decades. The WoWe® EMF protective products are manufactured in South Africa. They are available through our company's online shop, making well-being and holistic health solutions more accessible across South Africa and beyond. These solutions are integrated into the organisation’s broader mission to provide practical, science-informed solutions for digital well-being in our increasingly digital and artificial intelligence (AI) driven world. As a building biology advisor, I also assess Electrosmog levels in residential, school, and workplace environments and offer mitigation strategies to support healthier digital living.
