Kleine Kombuis
What does your company do?
I am a qualified Chef and the owner of Kleine Kombuis. I am now working as a teacher in my own "Kitchen Classroom" teaching the youth not only how to cook, but kitchen safety, hygiene and all the skills needed to flourish. We also work on confidence and social skills. I have weekly students, some who have now been attending for three years and host workshops as well as birthday parties. We are well booked for 2025. Cooking & baking is my passion and I adore sharing this with the kids.
What is your biggest success?
I started out in 2022 in my garage area at home. I now have my own established Classroom in town. Success to me is the return of students each year for three years in a row - not wanting to leave but instead wanting to learn more.Being able to inspire and also being able to actually have a running business during these "hard times". I am very grateful.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Of course the financial side - I have expenses just like any other business and each month I have to make sure I can meet those expenses. Also, marketing of Kleine Kombuis. I feel like I do need more help and exposure in that area of my business.
