What does your company do?
We are an interior decorating company, that provides interior solutions to the public and business sector. We manufacture soft furnishings on site.
What is your biggest success?
Opening my Nest showroom in Port Elizabeth in 2019, running it alongside my staff who has been 100% loyal to Nest since. Nest has grown from strength to strength and every day I am grateful that I enjoy what I do. Some wise words I live by, if you love what you do, you will not work a day in your life.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
I tried to run an upholstery side to my business, it unfortunately was not successful. I blame myself as I was not on site every day. Running the business from 2 different sites was not the best idea. I had to retrench 12 people. Worst time of my life, but the decision had to be made for the future of the business. It was the biggest learning curve in my business career.
