What is your biggest success?
Our biggest success has been receiving national recognition for our commitment to excellence in the recruitment industry. In 2023, we were honoured with the PMR.Africa Golden Arrow Award, followed by the prestigious PMR.Africa Diamond Arrow Award in 2024 — the highest accolade in our category. What has been your biggest hurdle?
My biggest hurdle has been transitioning from a one-woman business to building and leading a team I could trust. In the early years, I did everything myself — from client engagement and recruitment to admin, marketing, and finance. As the business grew, I had to face the difficult but necessary shift: letting go of control, hiring the right people, training them thoroughly, and learning to delegate with confidence.
This journey challenged me on both a professional and personal level. It required patience, self-awareness, and a willingness to grow as a leader. It wasn’t easy to entrust others with the responsibilities I had carried alone for so long, but today, I’m proud to say I have a strong, capable team that shares my values and vision. Overcoming this hurdle has not only allowed the business to scale but has created a supportive, empowered environment that continues to thrive.
