What does your company do?
Maritime EmpowerHer is a pioneering organization dedicated to transforming the maritime industry through advocacy, education, and mentorship. Founded by MphoM, a trailblazer in the field, the organization seeks to promote diversity and inclusion, empower women, and drive sustainable practices within the sector.
What is your biggest success?
I am mentoring 20 young women providing them with network opportunities and access to Maritime professional. I have been awarded SAIMI community impact award. I have successfully hosted webinars that were led by young women from South Africa and Globally. I have been a speaker and facilitator at major Maritime events.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Financial support to expand the mentorship program.
