What does your company do?
Read2Lead empowers underserved communities by providing access to books, literacy programs, and leadership development. We believe that reading is the first step to leading—so we equip children and youth with the tools to learn, grow, and break the cycle of poverty through education.
What is your biggest success?
Our greatest achievement has been seeing children who once struggled to read now helping others to read. Watching young people grow from shy, uncertain learners into confident readers and community leaders is the most powerful proof that our programs work.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Our biggest hurdle has been securing consistent funding to keep our programs running and growing. While the passion and need in the communities we serve are undeniable, financial limitations have often forced us to scale back or delay projects. It’s challenging to meet the high demand for books, learning materials, and safe reading spaces with limited resources—but we continue to push forward, driven by the impact we see every day.
