Elyblends
What does your company do?
As the founder elyblends Botanicals, I lead a proudly South African enterprise rooted in the fertile heart of Northern Limpopo. We specialize in the cultivation, processing, and research of indigenous medicinal herbs—with a core focus on moringa, African wormwood (Artemisia afra), and Sutherlandia frutescens—plants that have been used in traditional healing for generations.
Our farm combines ancestral knowledge with regenerative agriculture to produce premium-grade, organically grown botanicals for the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, and wellness industries—locally and internationally. What sets us apart is not only the purity of our crops, but our commitment to community empowerment and sustainable land stewardship. Every product we offer tells a story of healing, heritage, and hope—from seed to supplement.
What is your biggest success?

This deal not only validated the global demand for African medicinal plants but also marked a turning point for our farm, allowing us to scale production, invest in processing infrastructure, and create sustainable employment
What has been your biggest hurdle?

While our plants have been trusted for generations, meeting the formal standards of Good Agricultural and Collection Practices (GACP), organic certification, and export compliance required significant time, capital, and technical
