Thebeibelwe is a 100% black female-owned architecture and interior design studio specializing in commercial and hospitality spaces. We offer end-to-end design solutions that are rooted in storytelling, sustainability, and local craftsmanship. From architectural concepts to bespoke interior detailing, we create functional, beautiful environments that reflect each client’s unique vision. Our work blends timeless elegance with contemporary innovation, delivering spaces that are both impactful and experience-driven.
What is your biggest success?
Being part of the nationwide rollout of Bidvest Premier Lounges across South Africa. Thebeibelwe has been instrumental in both the conceptualization and execution of this project, playing a key role in developing innovative concepts and overseeing the design process from inception to completion.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
The main challenges faced by Thebeibelwe include securing new clients in a competitive market, managing financial issues due to accountants misunderstanding the business model, and working on projects at risk without guaranteed payment. To overcome these, the company has refined its marketing strategies, improved financial management processes, and become more selective in project selection, ensuring clearer agreements and better risk management.
