What is your biggest success?
A key success has been building Change Conversations into a trusted coaching brand serving professionals and entrepreneurs across South Africa and internationally. We've delivered leadership and coaching interventions to corporates, enterprise development programs, and private clients — both in-person and virtually. A major milestone has been creating scalable self-coaching resources, like the My Dream Career Journal, which extends our reach beyond live sessions and supports ongoing personal development. I'm also proud to have been featured on international podcasts, where I’ve shared insights on purpose, leadership, and career transformation—a testament to the global relevance of our work. Another highlight has been receiving recognition through two awards: the Woman of Stature award and the Career Changers Award, both affirming the impact and integrity of the journey. Collaborating with a growing network of coaches and facilitators has enabled us to expand our reach and deliver consistently high-impact results across diverse audiences
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Sustaining cash flow during traditionally quiet months — such as December through February — has been a consistent challenge. As a service-based business, revenue can be project-dependent, and planning for seasonal dips has required disciplined financial management and creativity in product development. Another key hurdle was the rapid pace of growth: as demand increased, I quickly realised that I could no longer do everything alone. Delegating, building a delivery team, and trusting others with the brand required a mindset shift. Balancing the dual demands of delivering exceptional client work while also sourcing and pitching for new business has been stretching. At times, the business needed to grow faster than the internal systems allowed, so I had to refine processes on the go. These experiences taught me to lead both strategically and operationally — and to build a business, not just a practice.
