What is your biggest success?
Our biggest success in the fire and security business has been building a reputation for reliability and rapid response. One standout achievement was securing a long-term contract with a major industrial client who required full-scale fire detection, suppression systems, CCTV, and access control across multiple facilities. We not only designed and installed the systems ahead of schedule, but our integrated monitoring reduced false alarms by over 60% and improved response times during actual emergencies.
That project led to significant referrals and helped position us as a trusted partner in critical infrastructure protection. More than just the financial gain, the success demonstrated our ability to deliver complex solutions tailored to high-risk environments—something we're really proud of.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
One of our biggest hurdles in the fire and security business has been keeping up with rapidly changing technology while still meeting regulatory compliance and maintaining client trust. Customers expect cutting-edge solutions—like smart integrations, remote access, and AI-enabled surveillance—but often on tight budgets and with high expectations for reliability. lastly, cash-flow can also be a problem at times if we are not paid timeously.
Balancing innovation with affordability has been a challenge, especially when dealing with legacy systems or working in sectors where downtime isn’t an option. To overcome this, we’ve focused on continuous training for our team, partnering with trusted suppliers, and offering scalable solutions that grow with the client’s needs. It hasn’t always been easy, but it’s pushed us to become more agile, knowledgeable, and solution-focused.
