What is your biggest success?
My biggest success has been leading Nos Media House through extreme adversity while keeping our vision alive. When we faced the pandemic, riots, and floods, it was not only about rebuilding the physical business but also about keeping my team motivated and our clients confident in our services. Today, we’ve not only recovered but work with top-tier clients like Huawei, Lenovo, and Forbes Women Africa. Growing a resilient, committed team of 11 and mentoring young talent through the YES program has been deeply rewarding. Personally, continuing my MBA while navigating these challenges has sharpened my leadership skills and commitment to sustainable growth. This journey has taught me the true meaning of perseverance and purpose-driven entrepreneurship.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Our biggest hurdle came during a series of unforeseen crises. At Nos Media House, we lost over 80% of our clients during the COVID-19 pandemic. As we began to recover, the riots and looting in South Africa devastated our offices, setting us back significantly. Before we could fully regain stability, the KZN floods hit, causing further delays in our rebuilding efforts. These events tested our resilience, both personally and as a business. However, through strategic pivots, client retention efforts, and the dedication of our team, we managed to sustain our core operations. Today, we proudly continue to serve top clients like Lenovo, Huawei, and Forbes Women Africa, with a growing team of 11. These challenges have strengthened our commitment to sustainable entrepreneurship and growth.
